Fear of Change | Aquib Afsar

In this age of Social media and smartphones, all of us have too much information, whether this information is useful or not, but we all have.

There are many informations out there on the internet, good or bad, false or true, right or wrong, authentic or fabricated.

We all continue swiping our fingers on Facebook, YouTube, or Instagram. We continuously come across many informations. It can be useful scientific information, philosophical information, or anything filthy or just for time pass. We also come to know many Pros and cons about many things.

Political, Social or Religious. We keep feeding our minds with informations. All of us continuously feed our minds about these topics. Also, we see various motivational speakers out there on the internet, even non-religious speakers. We listen to them, love them and their words, we also learn about those things which we didn't know before. We also differ with them, if their thoughts don't match with ours. Even when we agree with someone on general topics, we within ourselves know the truth. We know what we're saying is true or not or what they're saying is false or not. We also come across with various logical and rational informations related to the reality of our life, Human being's existence, God's existence. Other topics such as different religions. Whatever we see and listen, we inside ourselves know as hints that what is the truth/making sense and what is not.

For example, if you come across a YouTube video where the speaker is saying that the Earth is flat, then even if for a moment you listen to him or respect him, you know that this is illogical. We know that the Earth is round, it is proven. You don't have to falsely convince yourself to believe that Earth is round.

Similarly, as a positive side of social media, we know so many things that are true and authentic and which makes sense. But bound by our emotions and beliefs, we fear to change our thoughts and ourselves. We fear to change. It happens because we stop being sincere to ourselves, we fool ourselves by wearing a blind glass. We try to hide the facts, sometimes through our actions, we want to believe in what we believed before and we don't want to disbelieve in our past understanding. We always believe the same as what we believed before.

We also come across sound logical answers to those questions which are important to us as human beings.
Why do we fear to change?
Those who want to hear only what they believe in, they are not sincere to themselves.

So, whoever you are, from whatever background, in your life, you should at least be sincere to yourself. Because if you'll not be sincere to yourself then you'll never learn anything and if you'll gain no knowledge then you'll fail to be successful as a Human being in life.
So, be true to yourself even if something goes against you. You cannot arrogantly say that you know everything. It's a very foolish thing to say. Man can never stop learning.

Know one thing, that just because if you don't believe in something that doesn't mean that it does not exist. The truth could be anything, you may understand it and many at times you may not understand what the reality and truth is. There are many things in science and philosophy which are very vast topics. So just because you did not come across a good argument for something to exist that does not mean that it doesn't exist.

There are many things that we cannot see or observe but they exist without any doubt. How we get to know about something which we cannot see? - By seeing its effect. There are many things that we cannot see what we definitely believe in.

I will be discussing this topic in detail in my next blog.
In sha Allah (God-willing)
